The Esoteric N-01XD sits at the top of their range of Network players. The N-01 XD features Esoterics’ latest discreet DAC giving state of the art audio performance. This gives Esoteric complete control over the performance of the player. This would not be possible using conventional DAC chips. The N-01XD player supports Qobuz, Tidal and Spotify. It is Roon ready and will also decode MQA files.
The Esoteric N-01 XD features battleship build quality inside and out. The Esoteric N-01XD is a substantial machine weighing in at over 26KG. The player is split into top and bottom compartments. The lower compartment houses the 4 toroidal transformers and linear power supplies as well as the digital input board. The top half contains the analogue stage and digital output board. These are carefully shielded from the power supply to maximise performance. There are digital outputs available for if you want to upgrade to twin external DACs.
The player can be upgraded further by the addition of an external Master clock such as the G-01X or G-02X. This moves the performance of the player on yet further.
