Cyrus CDt-XR Compact Disc transport

The Cyrus CDt-XR is one of 5 models that make up the brand new XR range.  The range consist of the CDi-XR CD player, CDt-XR transport, i7-XR &i9-XR integrated amplifiers and Pre-XR pre-amplifier.

All models feature brand new case styling in phantom black finish. The font panels feature new touch sensitive buttons and a brand new monochrome display. This gives the XR range a fresh new look. The biggest change is under the lid where the 5 models feature upgraded components and board layouts throughout.

All models can be upgraded by adding an external PSU which will be released later in the year. This intelligent power supply  connects up using a multiway connector.

The Cyrus CDt-XR features new circuit board layouts that focus on reducing noise. Power tracking starts by flowing through the quietest parts of the circuits first. Then it moves to the noisier parts of the product, This means the most critical sections of the circuitry get the cleanest power.

The new XR range have many upgraded components over the classic range. The approach to the new range was just to pick the best options rather than working to a specific budget for them.
