The Linn Lingo power supply is now in it’s mk 4 guise. It offers Majik LP12 decks and earlier versions of the Lingo a big lift in performance. The purpose of the power supply is to keep the motor running at a consistent stable speed. Any fluctuation is speed causes variations in pitch and timing accuracy of the reproduced music. The lingo avoids this by using computer techniques to control motor speed accurately. The Lingo automatically calibrates on switch on making sure speed is accurate with every use. Linn used technology from the development of the Radikal power supply in the latest version of the lingo which is what gave it such an uplift in performance.

New Lingo incorporates a motor speed management system and uses digital processing technology to make the platter spin more accurately and more consistently.
