The Neat Motive SX3 is a compact 2 way bookshelf loudspeaker. Its slim cabinet dimensions and choice of real wood veneers means it can easily be accommodated in any room. It can work close to a wall without resulting in too much bass and is a relatively easy load to drive.
The Neat Motive SX3 offers a big open dynamic sound with deep controlled bass. It partners well with most electronics and is the smallest model in the Motive range. The Motive SX3 is the bookshelf sibling to the SX2. It features the same inverted dome tweeter and reflex port configuration but in a space-saving bookshelf cabinet. Like the SX2, whilst they occupy a minimal amount of space, size is no gauge of performance. These SX3s really know how to put a smile on your face, and produce a soundstage that will embarrass larger speakers.
Neat Acoustics pride themselves in making speaker design decisions based more around listening that measurement. Bob is a keen musician and has vast experience of both live and recorded music. As with all Neat speakers, the Motive SX2 are hand-built in the Neat factory in County Durham. They are available in walnut, oak, white satin or black oak.

In common with Neat’s earlier stand mount models, the Motive SX3 once again raises the standard of sound quality expected from a speaker of this size and price. Ideal for use in smaller spaces or as a rear speaker in a multi-channel system, the SX3 has an open and strikingly clear sound with faithful dynamics and a focussed stereo image.
This loudspeaker uses a two-way bass reflex configuration. The bass reflex port is fitted to the bottom of the rear panel.
In spite of the compact and elegant appearance, the Motive SX3 surprises with its agility, its astonishing bass and beautifully open mid range.
The tweeter is the new and upgraded unit used throughout the Motive SX range and features a huge screened magnet assembly and a 25mm inverted anodised aluminium dome. This type of tweeter is usually only found in more expensive high-end loudspeakers and is therefore an exceptional inclusion to the Motive SX designs.
