The new Ekstra from Neat Acoustics is now available from DNA Audio, Otley, Leeds.

The Ekstra’s are the culmination of recent technological advances made by Neat. They adopt the 2.5 way isobaric reflex bass system previously pioneered in the Iota range. They also feature a 50mm ribbon-type tweeter for fantastic treble response.

The Isobaric arrangement, with two 134mm bass drivers, means that the speaker can reach into the lower-end of the frequency range. The second driver is effectively acting as a sub-woofer.

Ekstra is a sophisticated speaker, that also looks the part with its elegant lines. Whilst it is a powerful speaker, its size is far from over-bearing, as is the Neat trademark. This also means it is flexible when it comes to placement in a room.
